چکیده
Greywater, a type of wastewater, may be hazardous to human health and ecosystems. Greywater is large fraction wastewater that needs adequate attention for remediation reuse in the agricultural sector so part water problem can sorted out. This study aims develop rapid method greywater treatment agriculture. A microfilter consisting sand, clay, organo-clay, charcoal, biochar was designed tested treatments. Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical (COD), Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN), Dissolved Salts (TDS), Electric Conductivity (EC), turbidity pH values were measured before after using microfilter. Results showed tremendous removal efficiency BOD, COD, TKN, by developed The also effective treating placing pH, EC TDS acceptable range suitable use. Using treated irrigation corn, tomato seedlings increased growth compared with control group (plants irrigated tap water). economical, safe, easy handle easily applicable. These encouraging results suggest application this many countries solving scarcity problem.

The paper presents a study of a pilot plant treating light greywater for seven flats. The pilot plant combines biological treatment (RBC) with physicochemical treatment (sand filtration and disinfection). The pilot plant produced effluent of excellent quality, meeting the urban reuse quality regulations, and was very efficient in TSS turbidity and BOD removal: 82%, 98% and 96%, respectively. CO...

Water is one of the world’s most valuable resources. However it is under constant threat due to urbanization, explosive population growth and pollution. The most promising efforts to stem water crisis are to treat the wastewater in a sustainable way and reuse for non-potable applications. Grey water (GW) being highly voluminous and relatively less polluted, recycling for non-potable uses like u...
متن کاملPotential of Rainwater Harvesting and Greywater Reuse for Water Consumption Reduction and Wastewater Minimization
Northeastern Mexico is a semiarid region with water scarcity and a strong pressure on water sources caused by the rapid increase of population and industrialization. In this region, rainwater harvesting alone is not enough to meet water supply demands due to the irregular distribution of rainfall in time and space. Thus, in this study the reliability of integrating rainwater harvesting with gre...
